Tokyo 7th シスターズ app good for
As an English player, this game is still really enjoyable and easy to use
The App Store recommended me yet another rhythm game under the title Tokyo 7th Sisters. I was a bit nervous although the game was on the US App Store, there were no English translations anywhere. However, the game is simple enough I can handle.. Although the friend list management is iffy trying to translate. Besides this, T7S is absolutely amazing! It quickly captured my heart and is as great as Love Live!
Its kind of like a mix between Million Arthur, Idolmaster, and Love Live. Good game.
The music is the best. Please give us more music! I will buy all of the CDs.
Also, please give us an English language version.
And please make an anime adaptation. Everyone wants to watch it!
Some bad moments
It exits out of my screen by itself and I havent completed the practice stage yet. This needs some fixing -.-
楽しい ~~
There is a lot to do. An overall great game with amazing voice acting and beautiful character designs!
This game seems like itd be an awesome experience. My only complaint is that I cant understand the Japanese, so it would be good if English users could have subtitles ^~^ just saying, so I could enjoy it more.
Of course, I’m sure that I would enjoy it even more if I could read the dialogue/cutscenes. But there’s still tons of features to enjoy and a user interface that is actually quite simple once you figure out what’s what.
What is this game? It is both a music/rhythm game as well as a card collecting game, and a musician managing/raising game. According to the English wiki of the game (which is unfortunately still in it’s infancy) in the year 2032, the legendary idol unit, “7th Sisters” (in case you were wondering: idol music is a particularly Asian formula of music) retired from the music industry…and as a result, the whole idol music industry began to fade away, too. 2 years later, a time when idol music and groups are seen as a thing of the past, a young girl seeks to bring back the idol genre and with the help of a young, but beautiful, manager it may be possible. And it is here that you join in the journey to revive a dying music genre.
THE GAME:
As stated before, this game is a mix-genre type of game. You “scout” out potential candidates for the new idol group by visiting various (and amazingly lively) areas to search for new girls to join the group (they take the form of cards…hence the TCG aspect). You train them and raise their levels by usual tcg means. You can also evolve the cards by using similar cards. And then you can have music battles with other players which is important to secure tickets to play the rhythm game aspect. The rhythm game portion seems to be important because it seems to be key to using the evolved cards (until you max each character in the rhythm game, it seems you can’t use the respective evolved card).
Also, allow me to mention that the tutorial is very helpful in understanding the basic functions and flow of the game. If you pay close attention, you will know how to play the game.
What I liked was how immersive the game is. it is true that I can’t understand the dialogue (hence the plot/story)…but the atmosphere it gives off is inviting in it’s own right. This is not another TCG clone just slapped together…but a game with high production value…and perhaps even crafted with some tender love and care. Their’s even voice acting in some of the cutscenes.
Over all, this game has kicked off to a good start and I hope that it will continue to expand. It only has two songs for the rhythm game, but I hope to see more soon. My only major regret is that it’s not in English so I can fully understand the story.
Also, just to let you know, you can replay the opening video if you go to the settings.
tip: Occasionally, you have the chance to choose a response to the dialogue…I found that the top response is more often the “positive” response. Of course, if you can read Japanese, then you’ll know for sure…but since many of us don’t, that’s what I found.
You can also replay each of the cutscenes, too in the other options (it’s hard to describe how to get there without a visual…but you’ll figure it out soon enough after you play).
This is a great game. It reminds me a lot of other certain popular idol games.
Hopefully will get more content in the future. Even more hopeful is an English translation. IDF0AIUIg is my referral code please refer me.
All we need is it to be sub version! Then this game will be perfect Q.Q its awesome but need sub version pleaseeee.
